Fender Stratocaster 1965
Up for sale is a very cool 1965 Fender Stratocaster in original sunburst finish!
This guitar was played and we know why... it sounds AMAZING! The true Strat tone and feel!Original grey bottom pickups dated to 1965, with their original wiring and factory tape, combined with all original pots and selector switch. The pick guard, shielding, screws, springs, caps are also all original.Neck date is stamped March 1965, L series serial number.Frets look to be original medium frets that were available in 65 and 66.
Action is perfect and fret wear is minimal, freshly set up and leveled. The original neck shim is still in place as well.The bridge is original, though the saddles seem to have been changed a long time ago. Schaller tuners were also added way back when (making it a lot more stable IMO). The output jack is a new switchcraft replacement and the output jack plate is also a Fender reproduction part.
